ABOUT THE CITADEL BRIGADIER FOUNDATION
HISTORY OF
THE CITADEL BRIGADIER FOUNDATION
THEN
Over 60 years ago, The Brigadier Club funded the first scholarship for a cadet-athlete at The Citadel. Its mission was to help provide scholarship monies to a small athletics department in Charleston, SC whose teams had yet to win a championship in any sport.
NOW
Assistance is provided to approximately 350 cadet-athletes. Because state monies are not received in the Athletic Department’s budget for scholarship aid, the money raised by The Citadel Brigadier Foundation is critical to the Bulldogs fielding competitive teams throughout the year.
JOIN THE CITADEL BRIGADIER FOUNDATION!
Membership in The Citadel Brigadier Foundation is open to alumni and friends of The Citadel who are interested in supporting Bulldog athletics. By joining, you provide annual charitable contributions that fund scholarships for cadet athletes.
