RESCHEDULED 40th Annual Hall of Fame Banquet

Athletic Hall of Fame Banquet Rescheduled for Nov. 3

 

The 40th Annual Citadel – Gene Moore III, ’50 Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Banquet, which was postponed due to Hurricane Irma, has been rescheduled for Friday, Nov. 3 at the Holliday Alumni Center.

To attend, please sign up via The Citadel Foundation’s website at https://foundation.citadel.edu/brigadier-foundation-hall-of-fame-banquet.

If you have already registered, there is no need to repeat the process, but please confirm your attendance with Ashley Shinta (contact information is below).  If you cannot attend the rescheduled event, you may donate your ticket purchase as a gift to The Citadel Athletic Hall of Fame Memorial Scholarship or contact Ashley Shinta for a refund.

Entering the Athletic Hall of Fame as the Class of 2017 include Steve Arrington, ’73 (baseball), Francis “Pete” Grant, ’66 (football), Kristopher Kut, ’00 (track & field), Cliff Washburn, ’02 (basketball and football) and honorary inductees Andy Clawson and Gil Kirkman.

$150 per person (before September 30)
$175 per person (beginning October 1)
Payment must accompany registration.

Captain’s Choice Format

Awards:  Team Prizes, Closest to the Pin, and Long Range Drive

Individual Sponsors:  $100 includes company’s name and individual’s name with class on a sign on the tee box

Reunion Class Awards:  Classes may arrange to have “tournament within a tournament” (must contact tournament committee in advance)
